Short-term charter of the vessels Silja Europa and Galaxy18.08.2022
Tallink Grupp has signed a contract with a company in the Netherlands for charter of both Silja Europa and Galaxy and as a result of this the following timetable changes will take place:
TURKU-STOCKHOLM-TURKU ROUTE // Baltic Princess & Galaxy Galaxy's last trip is on September 11, 2022, departing from Turku at 08:20 and arriving in Stockholm at 18:15. Baltic Princess will continue to operate on the route as the only ship and the timetable will change so that the vessel departs earlier from Turku and will call on Kapellskär instead of Stockholm. The timetable will be changed starting 12 September 2022, departure and arrival times will be as follows: Departure Turku at 18:30, arrival Kapellskär at 06:00 Departure Kapellskär at 07:15, arrival Turku at 16:30 With the Baltic Princess changing port from Stockholm to Kapellskär, the driving distance is significantly shortened, and this results in significant savings in fuel consumption. TALLINN-STOCKHOLM-TALLINN ROUTE // Baltic Queen As a result of Silja Europa being chartered out, Baltic Queen will make some of Silja Europa's special cruises and also a cruise to Mariehamn, which means that the departures on the Tallinn-Stockholm-Tallinn route are cancelled 10-17 September 2022, i.e. 09.09.2022 last departure from Stockholm at 17:30, arrival Tallinn at 10:45 (next day) 18.09.2022 first departure from Tallinn at 18:00, arrival Stockholm 10:30 (next day) After that, Baltic Queen continues according to the normal timetable, every other day from Stockholm and every other day from Tallinn. TALLINN-HELSINKI-TALLINN ROUTE // Baltic Queen, Star, Megastar Silja Europa's last trip on the line was on 14 August 2022. Baltic Queen will replace Silja Europa's special cruises on the Helsinki-Tallinn line between 10-15 September 2022. Baltic Queen operates according to Silja Europa's timetable. The shuttle ships Star and Megastar continue to operate according to the normal timetable. |
