NO-SHOW announcement - Unity Line Limited

TO ALL CLIENTS OF UNITY LINE SERVICE
Dear Customers,
With reference to our official announcement of 15.03.2017 regarding NON-SHOW
bookings (unchanged and not cancelled at appropriate time by Clients), we would
like to inform that from the beginning of July 2018 we are taking further steps to
reduce as much as possible of these practices and unrealized bookings.
Our actions will be referred to all Clients of our service and they will consist of
informing in reports (as it is now) about amounts and periods in which NON-SHOW
bookings of the Client has been registered. Afterwards, when all potential
disagreements has been clarified, we will issue an invoice with special non show fee
for each vehicle, according to point 4 of our Freight Tariff, which currently is 300
SEK.
Once again we wish to recall, that in our service all cancellations of bookings can be
made latest 24 hours before planned departure of the ferry. All changes of confirmed
bookings should be made not later than 6 hours before ferry departure, in our ferry
offices, cargo booking departments as below:
Terminal Świnoujście – from 07:00 till 18:00 hours
Terminal Ystad and Trelleborg – from 08:00 till 17:30 hours
We wish to underline, these activities are not addressed to those Clients, who
scrupulously ensure the procedures and rules of using our service are respected.
These further procedures arise from necessity of effective action in this area, leading
to release artificially blocked service capacity by those who practice prohibited
behavior. These decisive steps we are taking, should lead to increased transport
abilities of our service and to reduce as much as possible of these practices and
unrealized bookings.
We hope, that efforts undertaken by the steps will meet your understanding and as a
consequence will improve the quality of services and also discipline Clients to make
bookings with only real and true use intention.
We also hope, that our actions will facilitates the work of both sides.
